Getting Blog Visitors

This article covers one of the unique ways to route traffic to a blog that doesn't work for regular websites. Remember that every blog is a website, but that every website is not a blog. My best ways to drive traffic to a website remain my best methods to drive traffic to a blog. These include article marketing, link creation and factors for the creation/classification of content.

But blogs are a special kind of website. There are other very effective ways to attract new visitors to your blog. The first thing I played with was working with others. For your blog marketing to work, you need to understand that bloggers are part of a community. Those of us on the network remember when the whole network was a small and very close community... when it was okay to send an email telling others in your area that you just created a site and want a link to your site.

This is not what I am suggesting to the blogging community. The days when you even sent a personal email to someone you haven't met are almost over. The spam problem has made it increasingly difficult. However, it is always good and is always expected to be present when entering a community. It is also a good idea to let your new community know that you are a good guy and willing to help the community.

This message shows one way to do this when you enter the blogosphere. First, you have to find your neighbors. Use the Alexa toolbar to find out who the leaders of your new community are. Start by searching for "______ blog" on Google, Yahoo, or your favorite search engine. Fill in the field with the topic of your blog. Check out the blogs you see.

You like them well; they are leaders in their new community. Link them to your blog role. Read them every day to find out what's going on in your community. Do you not like her? No problem, then don't tie them. Don't read them. Don't introduce your visitors. You don't have to like everyone in your new community, but you want to be part of the community you now live in...

After reading these blogs daily, write your blog roles (links to other blogs in your community). Go and visit her. This is where the Alexa toolbar comes in. You can find new executives (with blogs posting less than 100,000 on your Alexa toolbar). Check out his blog and if you like it... add it to your own blog.

I recently moved to a city about 300 meters above the Utah Mountains. It was a new community. I had never lived in a rural area, so it was essential for me to do the same exercise when I became part of my new community here in the mountains. About: It wasn't about Alexa or connecting to others... but the concept is the same. If you join a community and want to be part of that community, go out and meet people. There's a way to do this in the blogging community.

Now after a couple of months, I have about a hundred links from the blogging community. From these links, I have more than 600 visits a day and more than 100 loyal readers who read my blog almost every day.

Did I ask for one of these links? As if they hadn't asked me about the links I gave them. Do I have 100 outbound links? Nan Many of these links is entered without me linking them. If I have the opportunity, I will review your blog and if I like it... I will give you a link. If for some reason I don't like this blog; I am not adding it to my blog list. It is not always an exchange of links.

Some of you may currently be confused about how my outbound links have become inbound links without taking any other action. You may be confused as to why I refer to this article as "How do I get blog visitors?" RIGHT; Let me explain why it works well on blogs but not on other websites.

First I use WordPress. It is the fastest-growing blogging software. I'm not sure if other blog software works, but I know the following applies to WordPress. When I log in to my control panel to post a blog entry, I see a page with a number of blog statistics. One of the most important parts of these statistics is the number of incoming links... and a list of those who recently linked me.

If you see a blog called "Mattress Cleaners" has just been linked to you... can you ignore that? I can't I am immediately distracted... and what should I do? Click on it and I will review this Mattress Cleaner blog. You only had one other reader (at least for that day). If it were a quality blog that is really relevant to the blogging community of my own blog (and they are not)... they would get a link in the role of my blog to publish regularly

The same goes for websites that are not blogs. When you log in to a site and send traffic, it appears in your reference records. However, many webmasters do not check their records or statistics. Those who do so can use statistical software that doesn't even display references. You can only focus on traffic, not where it comes from.

However, most bloggers see when someone links them. It is directly on the other side when they login to write a new message. All you have to do to let someone know that you have switched to your blogging community is to link them. By the way, it doesn't just introduce you ... let them know that you are friendly and that you love their part of the blogging community that you just joined. Don't be surprised if they link or even write an article on your blog.
